The Hall at Patriot Place Presented by Raytheon Introduces New Interactive Game; Announces Sweepstakes to Win Tom Brady Signed Helmet

September promises to be an exciting month to visit The Hall as guests will experience new exhibits and have the opportunity to register to win a Tom Brady autographed authentic Patriots helmet.

The Hall at Patriot Place presented by Raytheon is kicking off the fall season with a new interactive game, must-see exhibits, exciting giveaways and a revamped entrance that will enhance every fan’s experience.

Guests entering The Hall’s exhibit galleries on the third floor will now find themselves walking through a helmet tunnel and facemask similar to how the New England Patriots players enter the Gillette Stadium field on game day.

“The new helmet entrance provides a new, exciting interactive experience and photo opportunity for our guests,” said The Hall’s executive director, Bryan Morry. “It has been a great addition to The Hall.”

After entering The Hall through the helmet tunnel, guests will find the new interactive math and science football game, By the Numbers, at the New England Football exhibit. The game, commissioned by Raytheon and developed by 5 Wits Entertainment, asks users to input data needed to successfully complete a pass or kick a field goal.

“Our partnership with Raytheon has been incredibly fruitful for students visiting The Hall,” said Morry. “Raytheon’s commitment to students in the community provides an inspiration for us to strive to make a significant impact of our own through relevant, impactful education programs. We use football as the driver to show how math and science relate to just about anything students enjoy, including sports. We are excited to add another math and science interactive program that helps us meet our educational mission to augment classroom instruction in an entertaining, fun environment that promotes teamwork and learning.”

By the Numbers is the latest addition to The Hall’s popular education program committed to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). The new passing and kicking game complements another Raytheon interactive at The Hall, In the Numbers, which asks participants to answer football related math and science questions to move a player into the end zone for a touchdown.

Another popular stop at The Hall is the recently launched exhibit, The Cover Boys – The Patriots on the Cover of Sports Illustrated. The exhibit features 55 Sports Illustrated covers and includes every Patriots cover dating back to the first in 1966 as well as behind-the-scenes footage from two Patriots cover photo shoots and exclusive game-used artifacts. It also includes all 17 covers that feature Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Speaking of the Patriots’ legendary signal caller, guests visiting The Hall in September will have the opportunity to register to win a Tom Brady autographed authentic Patriots helmet in The Hall’s lobby. The sweepstake begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 and ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2013. No purchase is necessary to enter. Visit www.thehallatpatriotplace.com for details and official sweepstake rules.

The Hall will also be giving away free Brady schedule posters (while supplies last) with paid admission to The Hall over Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Aug. 31 to Monday, Sept. 2).
