Tom Brady Authoring First Book, An 'Athlete's Bible'
The five-time Super Bowl champ turns published author this year.

FOXBOROUGH, MA – There's no doubt Tom Brady can throw a football, but can he write too? That question will be answered in September, when the New England Patriots' quarterback releases his first authored book, "The TB12 Method: How to Achieve a Lifetime of Sustained Peak Performance."
The "athlete's bible" tackles (no pun intended) how the five-time Super Bowl champion maintains peak performance at 39 years old. Simon & Schuster, the publisher behind the book, describes it as "oversized, heavily illustrated, revealing yet deeply practical," delving into Brady's exercise regimen that decreases the risk of injury while extending performance.
"We expect this book to become an essential source for the way athletes of all ages live and train, whether they are in high school or in retirement," Jonathan Karp, president and publisher of Simon & Schuster, said in a press release. "The fact that Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time gives him the authority to write this book—but the fact that the principles that he’s espousing go well beyond sports is one of the reasons readers are going to pay close attention to his message."

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the book will be 320 pages long and cost $30. While Brady's TB12 brand released a nutrition manual last year, this is his first personally authored book.
