Tom Brady Breaks Silence at Kevin Faulk Hall of Fame Ceremony
The Patriots quarterback spoke publically for the first time in months Monday night.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — After months of silence, Tom Brady spoke publicly Monday night at Gillette Stadium.
Wearing a 33 jersey, Brady made a surprise appearance during the Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony for his former teammate Kevin Faulk. As expected during the unexpected moment, there was no talk of suspensions or deflated footballs, just kind words for the Patriots running back of 13 seasons
"What a pleasure to spend many years in the backfield with him. When you're standing two feet from him and you knew he had your back on every play, you really knew what was going on," Brady told the crowd.

The comments were the first made in public in Brady by months. He is unlikely to partake in media availability until his suspension is over and his previous public statement came in the form of a Facebook post announcing the end of his campaign to appeal his Deflategate suspension.
The Brady-Faulk friendship is no secret. During this year's NFL Draft, Faulk infamously wore a Brady shirt in support of the suspended quarterback.

"His actions always spoke louder than his words and that was no more evident than this past April at day two of the NFL draft. He was asked to announce the third round pick but he couldn't pass up the opportunity to show his support for his old teammate. He didn't represent just his feeling but the feelings of the entire Patriots Nation," Patriots owner Robert Kraft said during the ceremony.
