Tom Brady Reveals What Playoff Hand Injury Looked Like
Consider this your warning, it's not pretty.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Tom Brady wasn't lying when he said he thought his season was ended by a handoff gone wrong during a practice session days before the AFC Championship Game against Jacksonville Jaguars. This one picture proves it.
An image of the gruesome injury was shown in the sixth and final episode of "Tom vs. Time" released Monday. Brady suffered the injury the Wednesday before the game after Rex Burkhead ran into him helmet causing a giant, bloody gash.
"When I hit my thumb I thought this is it? This is the way the season ends?" Brady said. "I'm looking down at my thumb as it's split open and I'm thinking I really don't know what happened to my thumb but I know it doesn't feel good and I have a hard time believing that I'm going to play well against the number one ranked defense in the league."

Brady said he felt better on Thursday and believed that he could play by Friday. Maybe it was because of all the thumb work performed by his fitness guru Alex Guerrero, some of which was featured in the episode.
By Sunday, Brady was able to play with some protective black tape over the injury.
