Two Arrested After Heroin Sales in Weymouth

Weymouth police arrested two men Wednesday night.

A Boston man who escaped police after an alleged drug deal last wee was unable to double his luck Wednesday night.

Savill Diaz, 24, was arrested Wednesday after police observed him selling heroin to Terrence Norve, 34, of Weymouth according to the Patriot Ledger. Both men were arraigned Thursday in Quincy District Court. Norve was charged with two counts of possession of heroin and two counts of conspiracy.Diaz was charged with distributing heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, a drug violation in a school zone, two counts of conspiracy, failure to stop for police, obstruction of justice, two counts of driving with a suspended license and carrying a dangerous weapon.

On July 29, police saw Diaz sell heroin in Weymouth near Maple and Chard streets, but were unable to stop him for questioning before losing him. A week later, police were able to successfully observe another deal involving Diaz. When police stopped him, empty bags with heroin residue, $700 in cash and a large double-edged knife were recovered.
