Two Indicted in Connection to Foxborough Motel Stabbing

The charges stem from an incident at the Gaard Motel in December.

Two people have been indicted in connection to a stabbing at a Route 1 motel.

Katherine Sacoco, 23, of 25 Charles St., Wrentham and James Clancy, 26, were indicted in the stabbing at the Gaard Motel according to the Sun Chronicle.

Sacoco was charged with accessory after the fact, possession with intent to distribute a class B drug, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Clancy was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

On December 14, police responded to a report of a stabbing at the motel. The victim received a MedFlight during a New England Patriots home game from the Gillette Stadium practice fields to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. The victim checked themselves out of the hospital 12 hours after arriving.

At the time of the incident, police believe the stabbing to be drug-related.
