Two Turkeys Down, One Remains
Two of the problematic turkeys around Foxborough has been killed, the animal control officer said.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough's problems when it comes to an aggressive group of turkeys has been decreased by two-thirds.
Animal Control Officer Sue Thibedeau told the Sun Chronicle that two have been killed following action by MassWildlife and one vehicle on Sept. 27. One bird was killed in the netting process and the other was hit by a passing car near the Foxborough Music Den on Mechanic Street.
Relocation was not an option because the turkeys would cause the same issues elsewhere.

The aggressive turkeys have caused problems for residents in the area, with social media posts detailing incidents of the turkeys including pecking vehicles and nearly attacking joggers.
There are no plans to kill the third turkey. The animals are often aggressive in groups of three, according to Thibedeau.

Back in September, Thibedeau said she thought someone was feeding the turkeys. Residents are advised not to do this.
