WATCH: Rolling Stones Perform Private Show at Gillette Stadium

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Often when a concert is at Gillette Stadium, the neighborhoods hiding behind the trees that surround One Patriot Place are made well aware with the volume of the performance. Tuesday night, however, the music barely left the field.

Legendary rockers the Rolling Stones were in town for a performance at a dinner for a couple hundred business associates and friends of Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The high profile crowd included Tommy Hilfiger and Secretary of State John Kerry based on photos from the event and salon guru Pini Swissa, Combined Jewish Philanthropies president Barry Shrage, Davio's owner Steve DiFillippo, and Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, according to the Boston Globe.

Outside, some diehard fans stood near the lighthouse entrance, hoping to hear a free show. Despite the weather, many of the fans toughed it out as they tried to identify each song with only the quietest hint.
