For those of you who don't know me, my name is Alison and I am a Freelance Writer specializing in special needs. i haven't written in a LONG time, so it is about time i make a comeback! I have a 14 year old son with high functioning autism. He is currently out of district at a phenomenal program called CHARMS Collaborative. He is in 8th grade and absolutely thriving!!
I absolutely do not know where all the time went!! I have watched my darling go from a struggling child to a bright, intelligent, compassionate and sensitive young man. I am an extremely proud mother!
He is coming upon his 3 year re-evaluation (psychological, emotional, educational) which came way too fast! Whatever the results show, I already know he is happy and learning. We just go with the flow.
