What Happened to Bill Belichick's Eye?

Not even Patriots head coach Bill Belichick can escape the team’s injury bug.

Tuesday morning, Belichick showed up for his morning press conference sporting a black eye, leaving reporters curious what happened to the coach.

Like he is with his team, the coach was tight-lipped when it came to his eye, simply replying “I think I’ll live” when asked if he was alright.

Belichick was also asked if he’ll be on the injury report, which is expected to come out Wednesday.

“I don’t think we have to list the coaches on the injury report, but I’m sure if we’re required to do it we’ll do it,” Belichick said.

Patriots fans will be waiting for the report, not for Belichick’s eye, but rather to see if there is any progress on the multiple injured Patriots including Julian Edelman, Sebastian Vollmer, and Dont’a Hightower.
