Did You Know …

  • While Chesney has become a staple in the Gillette Stadium summer concert series, he did not headline the first country concert at the stadium. That honor goes to singer and Patriot Place bar owner Toby Keith, who was the main event at the 2004 New England Country Festival.
  • This year will mark Chesney’s 12th and 13th Gillette Stadium appearances, which included consecutive appearances from 2005-2009.

A Return For Chesney

After taking a break in 2014, Chesney returns for his traditional late August concert at Gillette Stadium. The break was only the second time since 2001 the country star has taken the summer off. The only other time Chesney was not in Foxborough since making the venue a regular stop was 2010.

No Stranger to Town

While this is Aldean’s first time in Foxborough, he is well known to fans around the Boston area. In 2013, he sold out two shows at Fenway Park in a show the Boston Globe called “a barn burner...professional, polished...full of big beats and brawny riffs.” He also performed at the Boston Strong concert that same year.
