Police Log: Winter Classic Custodies, Shoplifting, and More

6:27 p.m. – After police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Foxborough Metro on Washington Street, Matthew Boczenowski, 32, of Walpole, was arrested and charged with shoplifting over $100 by asportation.

December 31

During the Bruins-Canadiens alumni game at Gillette Stadium, a 32-year-old male from Brookline and a 34-year-old male from Wellington, N.C. were taken into protective custody.

January 1

The following people were taken into custody during the NHL Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium. Overall, three people were arrested and 13 were taken into protective custody. 67,246 people attended the game.

• A 34-year-old male from Dover, N.H. was taken into protective custody.
• A 32-year-old male from Montreal, Quebec was taken into protective custody.
• A 27-year-old male from Carlisle was taken into protective custody.
• A 32-year-old male from Chelsea was taken into protective custody.
• James Flounders, 45, of Lakeville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
• Sean Foley, 21, of Foxborough, was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery.
• A 25-year-old male from Montgomery, Texas was taken into protective custody.
• A 20-year-old male from Coventry, R.I. was taken into protective custody.
• A 23-year-old female from Foxborough was taken into protective custody.
• A 29-year-old male from West Bridgewater was taken into protective custody.
• Matthew Bromson, 48, of North Granby, Conn., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, possessing an electric stun gun, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, and as a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.
• A 33-year-old male from Barnstable was taken into protective custody.
• A 25-year-old male from Gorham, Maine was taken into protective custody.
• A 23-year-old male from Milton was taken into protective custody.
• A 19-year-old male from North Reading was taken into protective custody.
