Woman Charged With Child Endangerment, Drugged Driving in Crash Near Foxborough-Sharon Line

Police say Leanne Disarro​ crashed her car near Shaw's Plaza while under the influence of drugs.

SHARON, MA — A Milford woman was arrested near the Sharon-Foxborough line Monday after allegedly crashing her car while under the influence of drugs and with a child in the vehicle.

Leanne Disarro, 41, also faces charges of, reckless endangerment of a child, two counts of heroin possession, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, according to the Sharon Police Department.

At about 2:20 p.m., police received a report of a single car crash near Shaw's Plaza on South Main Street. The caller told police that the driver, identified as Disarro, seemed to be passing in and out of consciousness while operating erratically just before the crash. Police later learned that the crash may have involved Disarro overdosing and there was a 2-year-old child in the backseat.

Police found a plastic straw sticking out of a handbag, folded dollar bill, and a clear plastic bag with four smaller baggies with substances that tested positive for heroin and fentanyl, according to a police report.

The child was not injured and Disarro was taken to Norwood Hospital.

The Department of Children and Families has been notified of the arrest.

Disarro was arraigned in Stoughton District Court Tuesday. She was ordered held on $1,000 cash bail and must remain drug free and submit to random testing if she posts bail, according to court records.

Dissaro is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing April 4.
