Fire Hits Route 9 Framingham Apartment Building
The 2-alarm fire was reportedly mostly contained by 10:30 a.m. Friday.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham firefighters responded to a blaze inside a Route 9 apartment building Friday morning, an incident that eventually grew to two alarms.
The first was reported near 9:30 a.m. in a building at 640 Worcester Road. The fire was substantially out by about 10:30 a.m., the fire department reported.
The response to the fire shut down nearby Main Street between Route 9 and Walnut Street, according to Framingham police. Drivers were being told to avoid the area completely.

Firefighters from Sudbury helped with the incident, providing coverage while Framingham firefighters responded to the fire.
