Framingham Fire Threatened Historic Home
Crews knocked down a multi-alarm fire on Wayside Inn Road at an 18th-century home.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – A two-alarm fire threatened an 18th-century home Thursday morning, but the effort of local firefighters kept things from getting out of control.
Crews battled a two-alarm blaze at 51 Wayside Inn Road. That location, the Framingham Tab reports, was once owned by Ezekiel Howe, whose family established Sudbury's Wayside Inn.
A Framingham firefighter confirmed there were no hydrants nearby, making the battle even tougher.
