2 Framingham Residents Indicted As Part of Federal NECC Investigation

Fourteen individuals, including the co-owners of New England Compounding Center in Framingham, were arrested Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Gregory Conigliaro, 49, of Southborough and Barry Cadden, 48, of Wrentham were arrested at their mansions as part of two year investigation into the former Framingham-based company that was linked to a deadly meningitis outbreak in 2012.

The outbreak killed 64 people and infected more than 750 individuals, in 20 states, but not in Massachusetts.

Framingham residents arrested were Alla V. Stepanets, 34, and Michelle Thomas, 31, according to a U.S. Attorney’s office indictment, unsealed today.
