2 New Framingham Restaurants Apply To Open In City

Framingham may soon have two new dining options in the downtown area and along Concord Street.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Board of License Commissioners on Monday may approve two new restaurants to open in the city.

La Pupusa Loca Mexican Food and Mi Cabana Restaurant are both up for victualler licenses, which allow restaurants to operate.

Both eateries would be located in spaces that are currently vacant or partially vacant.

La Pupusa Local would inhabit a space at 795 Concord St., a small commercial space just off of Route 9 near Sturgis Road.

Mi Cabana Restaurant is planning to open at 130 Kendall St. in the downtown area. That building is partially occupied by a convenience store, Nuestro Caribe and was formerly home to a Domino's Pizza.
