23rd Annual Framingham Tree Lighting Ceremony Scheduled for December 5

Festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. with a sing-a-long led by the Framingham Girl Scouts, on the steps of the Memorial Building.

The Town of Framingham has scheduled its 23rd Annual Tree Lighting ceremony for Friday night, December 5.

Festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. with a sing-a-long led by the Framingham Girl Scouts on the steps of the Memorial Building. After the sing-along, Santa and Mrs Claus will light the town’s tree outside the Memorial Building.

Afterwards, everyone is invited inside for more musical performances, cookies and hot cocoa, and a chance to have you photo taken with Santa.

Scheduled to perform that evening are several Framingham High musical groups including the the all-girls a capella group Cloud 9, the Madigrals, Framingham High teachers bass trio, a saxophone ensemble, and the high school’s show choir - Vocal cannons.

Photos with Santa are $1 - and are limited to the first 250 children.
