3 Mass Pike Exit Closures In Framingham This Week

The closures revolve around ongoing work at exit 12 to Route 9 in Framingham.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Mass Pike driver in the Framingham area be aware: a key off-ramp will be closed in some way for three nights this week.

The three closures all revolve around exit 12 to Route 9. Drivers will be directed to either exit 13, or all the way to I-495 for Route 9 access.

Here are the three detours, according to MassDOT.

  • Monday, Oct. 19. Westbound exit 12 will be closed. Drivers will be diverted to exit 11A to take I-495 northbound to exit 23 for Route 9 access.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 20. Both westbound and eastbound exit 12 off-ramps will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Oct 21). Drivers will be diverted to exit 13.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 21. Westbound exit 12 will be closed. Drivers will be diverted to exit 11A to take I-495 northbound to exit 23 for Route 9 access.
