3 Nominated To Framingham Veterans Council
Mayor Charlie Sisitsky made the nominations, with the City Council set to make a decision on Tuesday.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Three men have been nominated to fill three spots on the Framingham Veterans Council.
Mayor Charlie Sisitsky made the nominations, and the City Council will vote whether to appoint them at their regular meeting on Tuesday.
The three men are Scott Hayes, Nicholas Paganella and Robert Downing. All are veterans.

Downing is a retired Framingham police officer who served for 23 years in the military. According to a memo from Sisitsky, he currently provides programs for Framingham veterans.
Hayes is also a veteran, and, the memo said, "would be a great addition the veterans council and bring a different perspective to the issues facing both our younger and older veterans."

Paganella was previously a member of the veterans council. According to the memo, he assists with veteran activities and events run by the city and other organizations.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
