4 New Coronavirus Deaths In Framingham, Officials Say
Framingham has recorded 10 new coronavirus deaths since April 24.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Another four people from Framingham have died of coronavirus, city officials reported on Wednesday. Including those new deaths, 10 Framingham residents have died of the virus since April 24.
Framingham also added 48 new coronavirus cases, bringing the city's total to 780. With 21 deaths and an additional five people who have recovered from the virus, there were 561 active cases in the city on Wednesday afternoon.
At Framingham Union Hospital, 58 people were being treated for the virus, and 15 of those people were being treated in intensive care, according to state figures.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 60,265 people across Massachusetts had tested positive for coronavirus, an increase of 1,963 from Tuesday. Another 252 people died over the past 24 hours, bringing the death total to 3,405 so far.
