4th Annual Winter Wonderland In Downtown Framingham Today

The Downtown Framingham Renaissance organization is hosting its 4th Annual Winter Wonderland today, Dec. 4from 4 to 8 p.m. in downtown Framingham.

This year, artPOP5 Holiday Bazaar has been added at 20 Union Ave.

While exploring and shopping at the downtown businesses, check out the Holiday Window Contest.

Tour the storefronts around-the-world, and vote for your favorite holiday windows through Dec. 20. Winners of the window contest will be announced on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Pick up your ballot at any participating business along Concord, Union, Irving and Hollis Streets and submit your votes at the artPOP Holiday Bazaar at 20 Union Ave.

The Holiday Bazaar will be open Dec. 6-24 Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m.

Mango Tree Artisans of Sudbury will be featured at the Holiday Bazaar. Find scarves, jewelry, art, and local crafts that might make the perfect holiday gift.

There also will be music, coffee and cookie-decorating as part of the 4th Annual Winter Wonderland.

At 5:45 p.m. the Town of Framingham will begin its 23rd Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on the steps of the Memorial Building. Girl Scouts will lead a holiday sing-a-long until Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in a fire truck about 6 p.m. to light the town’s holiday tree.

Afterwards there will be more musical performance inside from Framingham High students, cookies and hot cocoa, and a chance to have your photo take with Santa.
