Our daily column, 5 Things You Need to Know Today, will help you to get your day started and offer you some fodder for water cooler conversation.
1. Temple Brotherhood's breakfast this morning will welcome Daniel E. Levenson, Director of Public Affairs at the Consulate of Israel to New England. Levenson advises the Consul General on matters pertaining to religious and ethnic communities, and acts a liaison to such groups throughout New England. In this capacity he works closely with a wide variety of different organizations to help foster better understanding of complex issues affecting the State of Israel. He was educated at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Harvard University, and previously served as an Assistant Director for the Boston office of the American Jewish Committee. The breakfast will be held at Temple Beth Am. Admission is $12.
2. Temple Beth Sholom is holding Parent-Child Yoga at 11 a.m.
3. St. Bridget Church is hosting Girl Scouts at a Mass at 9 a.m. in honor of National Girl Scout Week. Girl Scouts turn 101 years old on March 12.
4. Public Swim at 2 p.m. at Keefe Technical's pool. Admission $4.
5. RCN launched a new Brazilian packages, that will bring to its customers a broad range of programming and information from Brazil, in Portuguese.

Additionally, RCN is offering a Brazilian Super Pak (RCN Brasil Super), for $74.99/month, which includes the components of the Brazilian Double Pak (RCN Brasil Duplo) plus unlimited nationwide calling to the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and 500 international calling minutes with the Global Saver 500 calling plan.
