AAA: Average Price of Gas in Massachusetts is $2.98
Gas prices locally are 28 cents lower than a month ago.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down five cents from last week, according to AAA Southern New England, which has an office in Framingham on Route 9.
AAA’s Nov. 3, survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.04 per gallon, down five cents from last week, according to a press release.
Prices locally are 28 cents lower than a month ago.

The current price is six cents more than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.98.
A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 26 cents higher at $3.30.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 55 cents, from a low of $2.88 to a high of $3.43.
