AAA Survey: Gas Prices Up 3 Cents
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 55 cents, from a low of $1.94 to a high of $2.49.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up three cents from last week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.
AAA’s Nov. 9 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.09 per gallon, up three cents from last week.
Prices locally are two cents less than a month ago.

The current price is 13 cents less than the national average for self-serve unleaded of $2.22.
A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 87 cents higher at $2.96.

“Oil prices moved higher earlier last week due to reports of supply disruptions in a few oil-producing countries,” said Mary Maguire, Director of Public and Legislative Affairs for AAA Northeast, in a press release. “While prices can have short term ups and downs, we believe that the strong supply of global oil will keep prices low as travelers prepare for the busy Thanksgiving travel weekend.”
