• Amar Seva Sangam USA to Host R.D. Burman Musical Fundraiser in Framingham (indianewengland.com) — A major musical fundraiser celebrating R.D. Burman is coming to Keefe Tech's auditorium in Framingham on Saturday, Sept. 19, bringing live performances by local singers and musicians. Hosted by Amar Seva Sangam USA, the evening will raise money and awareness for disability services in India, starting with a 5 p.m. social hour before the 6 p.m. show.
   

• Framingham MA man, 39, killed in pedestrian crash. What we know (metrowestdailynews.com) — A 39-year-old Framingham man died after a hit-and-run pedestrian crash Sunday night on Irving Street, and investigators are still searching for the driver of a gray 2016 Volkswagen GTI. Framingham Police, State Police, and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office are asking anyone with information to contact the Framingham Police Bureau of Investigative Services at 508-532-5924.
