Michael F. Marshall, died on Wednesday Dec.15, 2010 at his home in Framingham after a long, courageous and selfless battle with cancer. Born in Framingham, son of the Kathryn J. Kay (McNally) Marshall and the late Robert B. Marshall who died in 1981, he was a life long resident of Framingham. He was a graduate of Framingham South High School, Class of 1969 and was a Framingham Firefighter for over 25 years, retiring in 2009. Prior to that he was employed with the New England Telephone Company (Verizon). Michael was a member of the Framingham Lodge of Elks B.P.O.E. # 1264, the Framingham Eagles, F.O. E. Aerie 894. He had a passion for golf and was a member of the Juniper Hill Country Club in Northborough. In addition, he was an avid and accomplished photographer and several of his pieces are on display at the Cancer Care Center in Framingham. Besides his mother, he is survived his beloved daughter, Alison Ali Marshall of Marlborough, three brothers, Robert A. Marshall and his wife Karen of Hyannis, Jack E. Marshall and his wife Deb of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Paul V. Marshall and his wife Kathy Kenney-Marshall of Randolph; one sister, Susan A. Carpluk and her husband Stu of East Longmeadow and many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends. Visitation at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street, Framingham will be on Sunday Dec. 19, 2010 from 12-4 p.m. Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date.
