Andy Limeri Will Not Seek Re-Election to Framingham School Committee

The Framingham town election takes place in April 2015. There will be two, 3-year seats on the ballot.

Andy Limeri, who was first elected to the Framingham School Committee in 2006, announced Tuesday night he will not seek re-election in 2015.

Limeri is one of two School Committee members up for re-election for a three-year term on the seven-member School Committee. Chair Beverly Hugo is also up for re-election. Hugo is the member of the committee with the most seniority.

Last year, Framingham voters elected three new School Committee members - Don Taggart (who had been appointed to fill the rest of Selectman Michael Bower’s term) and Jim Stockless and Michelle Brosnahan. All three ran unopposed.

The year before, Eric Silverman was elected to his first term on the Framingham School Committee and Heather Connolly was re-elected to the committee, after winning a 1-year term seat after Ricky Finlay resigned. That race too was unopposed.
