Architects Of Framingham Middle School Recognized In Yearly Awards
Fuller Middle School garnered Jonathan Levi Architects some international recognition in yearly architecture awards circles.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — In Framingham, Fuller Middle School is a place where local students go to learn subjects that any middle school student would learn. Internationally, however, the middle school has begun to take on an expanded meaning.
Jonathan Levi Architects, the company that completed and dreamed up the build, has garnered recognition for the project in two architecture awards circles.
Fuller received an honorable mention in the Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Awards for 2022, and was named a runner-up in the 2022 Global Architecture & Design Awards in the public building category.

As for the American Architecture Award, the company said recognition in that competition serves as one of the highest forms of validation.
"The Fuller Middle School received an honorable mention for the 2022 American Architecture Award – the nation’s highest public award from a non-commercial, non-trade affiliated, public arts, culture, and educational institution," company officials said in a post on LinkedIn.

"Thank you to the City of Framingham for giving us the opportunity to design a facility to inspire young minds for generations to come."
Fuller has a rich history in Framingham education.
The building was originally Framingham South High School, built in 1958. When the North and South high schools combined to create the current Framingham High School in the 1990's, the building was repurposed into a middle school and dedicated to local leaders, Dr. Solomon Fuller and his wife Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller.
But in 2019, the building needed an upgrade in a major way.
The project was originally slated to cost over $98 million, but actually came in under budget. (Who said you can't save on beauty?)
