Ashland Farmers Market Thanks Its Customers with Lobster Fest, Sept. 5
Looking for something fun to do on Saturday? Don't miss the Ashland Farmers Market Customer Appreciation Lobster Fest!

Ashland Farmers Market (AFM) will thank its customers with a special Lobster Fest on Saturday, Sept. 5. Funded in part by Needham Bank, a lobster roll, corn and coleslaw will be provided by AFM vendors – fresh ingredients from Sunshine Farm and Jordan Brother’s Seafood prepared by The Carve -- for only $13. Customers are encouraged to pre-order online by Thursday, Sept.3 at www.ashlandfarmersmarket.org.
Also at the Sept. 5 market, kids will be able to view a whole live lobster and do a lobster craft at the Kids’ Corner, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Visitors will be able to feast at the picnic area while listening to indy folk singer/songwriter Jesse Hanson and Friends at the Arts! Ashland Alliance Music Stage, 10:30 to 12:30 p.m.
AFM is located at 125 Front St., on the grass across from the library every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 10. AFM attracts 1,400 visitors on average each week. Last year, 1,700 visitors came for Lobster Fest.
