Ashland Man Dead After He Was Hit By Train Leaving Framingham Station
The Middlesex District Attorney confirmed that an investigation into the Thursday night train strike is still ongoing.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — An Ashland man is dead after he was hit by a train leaving the Framingham Station on Thursday night, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office has confirmed.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan has confirmed the ongoing investigation into a fatal train strike that happened on Thursday around 7:40 p.m.
Jason Haywood, 45, of Ashland, was struck by a train that had recently departed Framingham Station, officials said.

A preliminary investigation suggests that Haywood may have been attempting to cross the tracks at the time he was struck. Haywood was pronounced dead on the scene.
The train strike caused heavy delays on the Worcester/Framingham line on Thursday night, according to the MBTA.
