Back-To-School COVID-19 Vaccines At Framingham Summer Concert
The state is sponsoring the clinic for anyone 6 months and up during Friday's Centre Common concert.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — This week's Friday night summer concert in Framingham will include a special guest.
The state Department of Public Health will set up a COVID-19 vaccine and booster shot clinic at the Centre Common event. The state is holding a series of vaccine clinics across the state this month as kids get ready to return to school in September.
At Friday's event, local residents over age 5 can get a booster shot, and anyone 6 months or older can get a regular first vaccine dose. The vaccine clinic will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.

“We want to give kids the best protection as they return to school, so they are less likely to get sick and have to miss classes and activities,” Public Health Commissioner Margret Cooke said in a news release. “We hope these convenient, all-ages clinics make it easier for families to get their children vaccinated and keep them safe.”
Framingham holds outdoor concerts every Friday between June and August. The band Four Corners will perform this week beginning at 6 p.m.
