Bookmobile Donation Match Deadline Extended to March 20

The deadline for matching donations has been extended until March 20 to help the Framingham Public Library Foundation meet its fund raising goal to bring a bookmobile to Framingham. Through the generosity of an anonymous library patron, all donations made by private individuals by that date will be matched 100%, up to a total of $20,000.

The fund raising goal of $150,000 will pay for the bookmobile vehicle, its books, videos, and other materials, the latest technology, and all the necessary accessories to make it a true library-on-wheels, including a lift for wheelchair accessibility – plus two years of vehicle maintenance costs. A bookmobile will bring library services to Framingham residents, particularly seniors and children, who may not be able to get to the library as easily or as often as they would like.
