Boston Marathon 2019 Road Closures In Framingham
Here's a list of road closures to prep for Marathon Monday and things to know.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Tis the season: On Monday, April 15, some 30,000 runners will make their way through Framingham — up Waverly Street/Route 135 as part of the 123rd running of the Boston Marathon. Framingham has 45 people from the city running in the marathon and countless spectators will line the streets of downtown Framingham to watch them run. Framingham is toward the start of the race so make sure you show up early to get a good view.
Road closures
Waverly Street/ Route 135 will pretty much be shut down to cars for the entirety of the race, from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. The area and businesses in the downtown will be open for pedestrians to walk through, provided they aren't crossing into the marathon path.

Viewing Spots
Really anywhere along Waverly Street/Route 135 guarantees a nice view of passing runners. Downtown near the intersections of Route 135 and 126 and the Columbus Square area usually attract a bigger crowd with passionate camaraderie.

Useful Info To Know
The U.S. Postal Service is sealing the blue mailboxes along the marathon route as a safety precaution. All mailboxes along the route will be pinned shut after last collection of mail on Friday, April 12, and reopened on Wednesday, April 17, according to the postal service.
In Framingham, mailboxes at 88 and 818 Waverly St. and 30 Hollis St. will be affected.
