The New England Fall Flower Show is one of the region’s most anticipated garden events, uniting dozens of volunteers, hundreds of amateur gardeners and designers, local floral artists, and regional experts for a weekend celebrating plants, creativity, and community. For nearly 200 years, the Flower Show has carried forward a proud tradition of horticultural exhibitions in Greater Boston — and this year, the community’s role in creating and experiencing the event takes center stage.

This year’s theme, World in Bloom, highlights the ways plants connect people across cultures and continents, and how the simple act of growing and exhibiting plants can foster health, joy, and a deeper sense of community. From novice gardeners to experienced designers, participants are invited to share in the experience, reinforcing MHS’s mission to get people growing together.
