Our Voices Unite: Singing for America

The Framingham Interfaith Community Association invites the entire Framingham community to a musical gathering, “Our Voices Unite: Singing for America,” on Sunday, July 12 at 4 pm on Framingham Centre Common (Vernon Street).

In a complicated time in the life of our nation, it is an opportunity to come together to honor the 250^th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The gathering will center on music that lifts up hope for our nation—traditionally patriotic music, folk songs, new and old expression of hope and love for our country. Each participating faith community will introduce a piece of music, framing it with history and story, lead us in singing, and offer a short prayer of hope.

The gathering will be non-partisan, interfaith and open-hearted. We will not focus on what or who is right or wrong; we will center on hopes and prayers for how we might live into the principles and ideals we proclaim.

Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on!
