Framingham State University Presents the Oscar-Winning Brazilian Film I'm Still Here

As part of its ongoing Arthur Nolletti Film Series, presented through Framingham State University's Arts & Ideas program, the university invites the Framingham community to a special screening of I'm Still Here (2024), the deeply moving Brazilian film directed by Walter Salles and winner of the 2025 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.

Based on a true story, the film follows a Brazilian family whose lives are profoundly altered by the country's military dictatorship in the 1970s. At once an intimate family portrait and a powerful exploration of courage, memory, and political repression, I'm Still Here is a film of extraordinary emotional resonance.

A discussion afterward will feature FSU historian Stefan Papaiouannou.

All members of the Framingham community are warmly invited to attend!
