Cameron Middle School Mourns Loss of Classmate

This is a letter principal Judith S. Kelly sent to parent:

"I recently spoke with Brandon Lee’s mother and she has requested that a few members of the Cameron staff attend the funeral on Thursday. There will be many family members and friends in attendance and she is not looking for a huge crowd. So we are asking that students from the school do not attend the funeral.

However, she would very much like to hear from students and family members. Sympathy cards can be sent to her at:

On the bulletin board by the cafeteria there is a beautiful tribute to Brandon. Students put their thoughts and memories on heart-shaped pieces of paper and there is an explosion of sympathy on each of the hearts. Brandon’s parents will see the bulletin board, get pictures of it, and all the hearts will be given to his parents at the end of the year."
