FRAMINGHAM, MA — A coffee shop and roastery that’s been a staple on Cape Cod for over half a century will soon open in Framingham.

Cape Cod Coffee plans to open its first location in the area this August at 770 Water St., in Nobscot Village, according to the MetroWest Daily News.

The Mashpee business launched in 1970 – a year before industry behemoth Starbucks came along. In 2015, Cape Cod Coffee sold to Jan and Pam Aggerbeck.
