"A 12-year run for a restaurant is a success by any measure, and we could not be more proud of this achievement. Most importantly, it would not have been possible without the hard work of our employees and the consistent support of our customers. We'll miss serving all of you, and we are beyond thankful for your loyalty over the last decade plus."

The Anderson family, who has owned the restaurant since 2011, said that "wheels are turning" in regards to what will take the place of CJ's.

"We are engaged and fully supportive of this process," they added.

"With much gratitude ... this is the right time for us to bow out."
