COMMCREATIVE TO RELOCATE HEADQUARTERS TO R.H. LONG FACTORY BUILDING IN FRAMINGHAM

CommCreative, an international unified marketing agency, today announced the company’s corporate headquarters will relocate to Framingham’s creative community district at 75 Fountain Street. Currently located on Union Avenue in Framingham, the move comes as CommCreative grows its digital, branding, advertising, and strategic communications services and expands its team of talented employees. Renovations at the new location are currently underway and scheduled for completion by fall 2016.

“In 1910, the R.H. Long Factory Complex was home to a company that manufactured automobiles - the leading, cutting-edge technology of the time. More than 100 years later, CommCreative is restoring the building back to an illustrious space that will once again foster creativity and inspire innovation,” said Bob Fields, president of CommCreative. “Our new headquarters will help support the Framingham business and technology industry and our continued growth, enabling us to continue to deliver outstanding results to our clients.”

Strategically located 20 miles west of Boston and a half-mile from the Framingham MBTA train station, CommCreative’s Fountain Street headquarters is easily accessible. The building abuts scenic Farm Pond and will boast 11,000 square feet of customized office space. The renovation will transform the space with many collaborative areas and a backdrop of mid-century modern meets industrial décor. CommCreative supports clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to regional businesses specializing in finance, healthcare, high-tech, and the retail fields.

Built in the early 1900’s, the R.H. Long Factory Complex is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Massachusetts Historical Commission. The factory was built and owned by Richard H. Long for use as a shoe factory during World War I, and later served as a factory for Bay State Automobile. The location has been repurposed multiple times throughout history, and was most recently known as the Kenwood Center.
