CT Man Identified In Framingham 'Suspicious Death' Investigation

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Connecticut man was identified as the person found dead at a Fenwick Street residence last week in Framingham.

Brooks Hood, 27, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, is the victim of what officials have called a "suspicious death."

An anonymous call was put in to the police around 6 p.m. on April 10. Officials arrived at the home to find a dead man inside with "apparent trauma to his body," officials said.

A search warrant was executed at the home later that evening, though officials haven't released details about what was found.

"The case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and a ruling on the cause and manner of death is pending," the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.
