That same night, Aug. 8, a film Porter stars in titled Dark Roast was screened at the Festival.
Directed by Pete Yagmin, Dark Roast is a short supernatural horror-comedy about a Reaper seeking love in the mortal realm.

Porter has the role of the Reaper.
Her first role as a professional actress was in 2011 as Alpha the cold and efficient, government created, super soldier, assassin in The Final Shift.
