The Director of Performance Management is responsible for developing and maintaining the overall Quality Management Strategy.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor, in collaboration with divisions and compliance, Quality Assurance Plans that track and monitor internal and external quality measures, and includes procedures for quality assurance and improvement.
- Develop, as necessary, and follow standards for managing and conducting internal reviews and investigations.
- Develop and implement metrics and performance targets that assess compliance and quality. Analyze data of audit findings and formulate recommendations for quality improvement. Present data and recommendations in a readily accessible manner.
- Monitor external investigations and conduct investigations as needed.
- Partner with Data Analytics to manage the completion of annual satisfaction surveys in all programs.
- Assist division leaders with the development, monitoring, and tracking of outcome measures, goals, and objectives.
- Educate and train staff on required performance and regulation standards. Partner with the training department to conduct division specific and agency wide trainings.
- Maintain documentation/reporting related to performance oversight, including but not limited to schedules of audit and monitoring activities, and follow-up with corrective actions.
- Conduct incident report tracking through HCSIS database.
- Monitor and assist Divisions with compliance around all quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives such as, survey and certifications, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) certification, Medicare reviews and Medication Administration Program (MAP) reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years’ experience in Human Services Quality/Risk management. Must have experience in Developmental and/or Brain Injury Services.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and ability to use good judgment.
- Must possess excellent assessment and interviewing skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in varying stages of development.
- Must have strong operational knowledge of computers.
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and function in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to execute a variety of decision-making models.
- Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
- Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
