Donation From Framingham 5th Graders Comes When It's Needed Most
King Elementary students recently donated groceries to Daniel's Table, a Framingham organization fighting hunger locally.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Bags and bags of shelf-stable food items were delivered to Daniel's Table thanks to King Elementary School students in Framingham last week.
The donation came at an important time for the organization, according to Executive Member Sandra Montesino.
"We are forever Grateful to all who donated! What a success and just when we need it the most," said Montesino.

Daniel's Table is a local organization which "aim(s) to improve food security in Framingham, Massachusetts by providing onsite food services, 20+ community freezers, grocery deliveries, unique food programs, and more," according to the organization.
King Elementary officials said they were happy to be partnering with an organization in the community.

"Huge congrats and shout out to our amazing fifth grade team for organizing and facilitating this food drive for Daniel's Table," officials said.
"And a huge Roar Out to the King community for your part in the donation process."
