Donations Needed For Framingham Arts Scholarship

The Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship is named for two arts supporters and former Cultural Council members.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — The Framingham Cultural Council is seeking donations for an important Framingham High School arts scholarship.

The council is seeking funds for this year's Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship, which is named after a couple who formerly served on the Cultural Council and were active in the Framingham art scene.

In 2020, the scholarship went to FHS students Brendan Qi and Isabelle Blais for accomplishments in music and drawing. Since 2018, scholarships have gone to students for achievements in theater, dance and painting.
