Downtown Framingham Inc. Names New Executive Director
Reyad Shah, a Framingham native and longtime Framingham Public Schools employee, will lead the organization. He replaces Anthony Lucivero.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Downtown Framingham Inc. has named the organization's newest executive director, tabbing a Framingham native to lead the organization.
Reyad Shah, a longtime resident and fixture within Framingham Public Schools, will take the lead of the organization. He replaces outgoing Executive Director Anthony Lucivero.
"We think that Reyad brings the right talents and experience in community work to lead our organization; we are confident he will be a great fit for the whole community," said DFI Vice President Leslie White Harvey.

Shah begins working with Downtown Framingham this week and stated that his goal is to assist local businesses in the intricacies of the operation process.
"Many of our downtown businesses are family run and immigrant owned. They might not always have the time or comfort in navigating the permitting process that is essential for businesses to open and operate," said Shah.

"I really want to help the business owners work as smoothly as possible with city departments so that we are all executing on the same vision for downtown."
Shah attended Framingham Public Schools before he joined the district as an employee. Most recently, he was the manager of the district’s Secondary Out of School Time Program.
