E.coli Bacteria Shuts Two Framingham Beaches
Framingham plans to reopen the beaches once tests show lower bacteria levels.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham health officials shut down two city beaches Friday due to high E.coli bacteria levels.
Tests showed high levels of bacteria near beaches at Learned Pond and Lake Waushakum. City health officials periodically test all swimming areas for safety.
"The water will be re-tested and the waterfront will open once the bacteria is back within acceptable limits," health officials said in a tweet Friday morning.
