Eight Framingham Streets Under Construction This Week
Plan your commute ahead and save time by avoiding roads under construction.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Several roads in the city will be under construction the week of of July 7-13. The warm weather means construction crews can take advantage and repair the roads. The schedules are dependent on the weather, but at least eight roads will be under construction during the week.
The following streets will be under construction:
- Beaver Street: Two-way and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern. Expect minor delays.
- Edgell Road: Southbound traffic will be detoured at Water St.
- Freeman Street: Two-way and/or one-way alternating traffic pattern during the daytime hours. Police detail officers will be on site.
- North Concord Street: One-lane alternating traffic pattern.
- Parker Road: One-lane alternating traffic pattern.
- Salem End Road: (sewer work) Traffic will be detoured from Linwood to Willow Brook Dr.
- Salem End Road: (bridge work) One-lane alternating traffic pattern.
- Union Avenue: Northbound travel only on Union Avenue between Beech Street and Linden Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Franklin Street. Southbound trucks will need to access Franklin Street via Main Street. Police detail officers will be on site.
