DON WHITE features at Jan 4 Amazing Open Comedy Mique Show

Start the new year with some laughs as Metrowest fan favorite DON WHITE stops in to feature at the 730 pm, Wednesday January 4, 2012 Amazing Comedy Open Mique Show at the Amazing Things Arts Center in downtown Framingham.

Comic, singer-songwriter, storyteller and all around entertainer, Don White is one of New England’s  most  popular  performers. His sensitive songs, thought provoking, then hilarious stories mixed with stand-up stuff make for a complete entertainer.

The Lynn native and host of his own weekly show in Lynn, is one of the best spokespeople for community art centers. He has been a great friend to Amazing, performing in many settings, often to sold-out crowds, as well as now teaching our periodic comedy classes. Don has taught a number of our miquers.  More about Don at  http://donwhite.net/

Acclaimed singer songwriter Christine Lavin who tours with Don says of him, "Don is not only a consummate professional, but he is very involved with our community of singer-songwriters and is someone who many of us seek out for advice or just good company. Don is also one of the funniest guys in the busness.”

Don recently teamed up at Amazing with Christine Lavin and they put one of the most memorable shows we have enjoyed here at Amazing Things. Don also had the release show for his new album “Winning Streak” at Amazing last year

Other testimonials:

New York's noted critic from the Village Voice, Robert Christgau, gave Don's release "Brown Eyes Shine" an A- in his Consumer Guide column and Stereo Review magazine calls his "I Know Exactly What Love is" from Don's Rascal release, "... in the running for Song Of The Year".
